Mazda has revealed the Mazda6 Estate ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show alongside the new Mazda 6 saloon. Last week saw the reveal of the new Mazda6 ahead of its public debut in Paris, and we knew that Mazda were planning to unveil the Estate version of the Mazda 6 at Paris too after they revealed it in Japan last month. And here it is.
Mazda Motor Corp. will reduce its vehicle weights by at least 220 pounds beginning in 2011, with a combination of lighter-weight materials, smaller vehicle footprints and new engineering processes, a top executive says. The typical Mazda vehicle has gained 80 pounds with each successive redesign, “mostly in larger tires and wheels, and safety equipment,” said Robert Davis, senior vice president of product development and quality for Mazda North American Operations.
The 2014 Mercedes S Class isn’t due to be revealed until 2013, but Mercedes will be teasing it at the Paris Motor Show with a sculpture. New car model teases usually take the form of dark photos or photos showing obscure detail. But Mercedes are taking a different route with the new S Class with an artistic sculpture.
